Lead Preschool Teacher
Olivia believes that every student learns and experiences things differently. Her goal is to provide a learning environment where children can be excited to explore through hands on learning, curriculum, expectations, and routines. Open communication with families and students is key for a healthy learning environment.
Olivia’s favorite children’s authors include Rosemary Wells (Yoko) and Mo Willems (Piggie and Elephant Series). Story Time is such an enriching opportunity for young children, and it is one of my favorite learning opportunities of the day!
Outside of work, Olivia enjoys beach combing at any rocky beach, looking for sea glass and agates, as well as spending time with family and friends, indoor gardening, and traveling.
Currently completing her B.A. in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood and Special Education, Pacific Lutheran University
Lead Toddler Teacher
Kathy believes that every child can be taught with a little compassion and kindness. Teaching toddlers and getting to be a part of their growing and nurturing, experiencing the joy of being surrounded by hands-on experiments and being captivated by the squeals of laughter is priceless. She loves messy art and watching the creativity of each of her students.
Kathy’s favorite children’s book is Corduroy by Don Freeman
Her favorite game is Hide ‘n Seek
Outside of work, Kathy enjoys journaling, walking/hiking, traveling to Oregon, facetiming her children & grandchildren, outdoor gardening, and hanging out with friends.
