Program Overview

Toddler Program (ages 12 months to 2 1/2 years)
- Focuses on speech development and socialization
- Emphasis on self-confidence and a sense of positive accomplishment
- Toilet training is provided in cooperation with your efforts at home
- Curriculum includes music, singing, and creative movement
Preschool Program (ages 2 1/2 years through 4 years)
- Focuses on learning, creativity, and cooperation with others
- Emphasis on development of self-confidence, curiosity, and self-discipline
- Curriculum includes music, language, physical, social, and academic skills
- Learn to respect others
- Develop a positive attitude toward school and learning
Kindergarten Program (ages 5 and 6 years)
- Fully accredited, full day program. Our kindergarten students receive six hours of classroom instruction daily. Many public schools only offer half-day programs
- Curriculum includes science, social studies, drama, Spanish, music, art, computers, and physical education
- Low child to teacher ratios offers children more individualized instruction and better preparation for first grade
- Our kindergarten program includes before and after-school care
First Grade Program (ages 6 and 7 years)
Our first grade program integrates listening, speaking, writing and reading skills. We use the Literacy Tree Program that emphasizes phonics and higher level thinking processes. Our mathematics program uses Addison-Wesley and Math Their Way providing an opportunity to learn fundamental concepts.
Before and After School Program (ages 6 through 10 years)
- Created for working families so children have a safe and friendly place to go before and after public school
- Outstanding team of teachers
- Our school transports to Sunset, Eastgate, and Somerset Elementary on our buses and vans. Afternoon transportation is provided from Newport Heights
- Wide variety of table games, music, arts and crafts activities, and outdoor play
- Homework club
- Our school is open public school holidays and public school "in-service" days
Summer Camp Program (ages 6 through 11 years)
- Two to three engaging field trips per week, i.e. Pioneer Farm, Argosy Cruise, Geology Dig and Kennydale Splash Day
- Make new friends, learn new games
- Two or three field trips each week to museums, parks and beaches
- Transportation in seat belt-equipped school vans
- Camp projects enhance reading, math, science and art skills
- Specialized instruction in martial arts, dance, art and woodworking
