Our toddler program concentrates on speech development and socialization. This atmosphere encourages children to develop self-confidence and a sense of positive accomplishment. Music, singing, creative movement and art are regularly scheduled each day. Activities for developing fine and large motor skills are also included (i.e. finger play, play dough, ball throwing, puzzles).
Art projects are designed to stimulate the child's awareness of size, color, shape, and texture. Toddlers become aware of other children as they play together under thoughtful guidance. They learn the give and take of social relationships through their play. Toilet training is provided in cooperation with the home.
Parents provide diapers, diaper wipes, a blanket and a change of clothes. Our school provides bibs and sheets.
